Day 1 - Portland, ME - Pick up overnight ferry to Yarmouth, NS
Day 2 - Yarmouth to Lunenburg via the Lighthouse Trail
Day 3 - Lunenburg to Peggy's Cove to Halifax via the Lighthouse Trail
Day 4 - Halifax to Sidney via Bras d'Or Lake
Day 5 - Sidney to Ingonish - via the Cabot Trail
Day 6 thru 8 - Cape Breton Highlands National Park - camping, hiking, sightseeing, whale watching
Day 8 - Ingonish to New Glascow, via the Cabot Trail and Ceilidh Trail
Day 9 - New Glascow to Yarmouth via Glooscap Trail and Evangeline Trail
Day 10 - Yarmouth to Portland, ME via day ferry, then to Freeport, ME
Day 11 - Freeport, ME to Home.

... under sail on the Eastern Star around Lunenburg Harbour.  Sunny blue skies, light breezes, and gentle waters created a perfect setting for a Sunday morning sail.
... the roving photographer took a break from finding the perfect shot to catch some breeze. 
The fishing hamlet of Peggy's Cove consists of about a dozen homes and shops nestled among the rolling, rocky hills surrounding a tiny cove off the Atlantic Ocean. This sparse, wind-blown yet charming enclave has become a major tourist attraction.
 We hopped among the boulders where signs warned of high winds and slippery rock.  The historic lighthouse served double-duty as the local post office of Peggy's Cove.
On Route 105 from Halifax to Sydney, we crossed the 45th parallel where the town of Stewiacke proudly announces its geographical orientation on this colorful exit sign.
